Internet History Timelines - Before Website Design Coventry

We thought we'd pay tribute to the exciting and interesting world of the internet and its humble beginnings. Long before the days of web design, animated graphics and Google the internet was different to what is is today....

1971
Email was invented by Ray Tomlinson - this wasn't to the standards of today's email software though. In the same year, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) was invented by a James Fergason.

1965
The term "hypertext" was coined by Andries van Dam and Ted Nelson. This term is not used as frequently in the world of internet terminology and web design Coventry as when it was first coined, as the term html is now used.

Web Design Coventry is Often Overlooked

You have your business idea and have an idea of what you want to sell online so the next stage of getting your website created and up there is going to be easy? Right?

Well technically yes, but this is often the part that is overlooked in the rush to get online. The basics are there, but if you have not thought of web design Coventry it can have consequences as visitors will be confused with the website design and may even leave your site without purchasing anything as they couldn't find what they were looking for.

All too often people forget to promote what the website is selling or providing. Visitors clicking on your site will want to know in the first few seconds what your website is about and where to go to get that information or product. If your homepage is cluttered and too busy visitors will not know where to look or click and will possibly leave your site. There is the idea that if everything is in one place on the homepage, it will be easier to find, but often this can be more confusing than having the information on deeper pages which will allow the visitor to engage with the site as there will be a whole page or section dedicated to what they were looking for.

Web design Coventry is important and therefore you will need to think about this before the website goes live.
